First Night

John 15:9-17 "'I have loved you even as the Father has loved me.  Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father's commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my job. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.  There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends.  You are my friends if you do what I command.  I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn't confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.  You didn't choose me, I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.  This is my command: Love each other.'"

We made it to FoCo at about 2 pm local time.  It was another great day of car riding, although not any funny pregnant cow stories.  We took a few Wal Mart runs and had a picnic in the park.  We enjoyed catered Panera and then some team exercises.  My team had what seemed to be an impossible knot, but we got it figured out, and only got close to breaking an arm.  I met my roommate, her name is Kelsy and we are getting along great.  God is really putting an amazing team together to work this summer.  Tomorrow is a day of orientation and getting to know the town.

We got our Bible Study information and will be working in Ephesians.  It seems like a great study. I'll keep ya posted on how things are going.  But for now I will be heading to bed, go to wake up and start all over again :)

Quick prayer request- my knee has started to act up, I think it might be cramped from sitting so long in the car and then standing on it a lot today. But just prayers that it will not hinder me from doing what God wants me to do.
If you have any prayer requests just let me know :)

Peace, Love, FOTR (Foot of the Rockies)
